Kirra Beach, Gold Coast 2007
We landed safely in Coolangatta, Gold Coast. We're so proud of Kimmy who did well throughout the one hour flight, no drama at all. This is her first flight interstate at the age of 5.5 months. We celebrated Mother's Day at a Thai restaurant. The women pictured here are so impressed with the quality. We brought Kimmy to Kirra Beach, just steps away from our resort. We were chasing the seagulls. We dipped Kimmy's toes into the water and she had a delayed reaction to it - scream. We were so amused. We took a 45 mins bus ride to Surfers Paradise and we had heaps of fun. Kimmy gave me a huge wet kiss on my cheeks for bringing them to Seafood Mania. It is also the first time that we witnessed Kimmy's quick hands in getting to my glass of cold water, attempting to sip. I was quite impressed. This is our balcony when we get to see the beautiful beach everyday from our lounge and bedrooms. Kimmy left her footprints on Kirra Beach On our last day, we visited the Currumbine Wildlife Century. Here is Michelle holding a python. Needless to say, Kimmy had heaps of fun interacting with the natives. There were so many kangaroos and wallabies. Unfortunately, we missed seeing the feeding of the crocodile.
The above pictures are just some of the 302 photographs that I have taken. If time permits, I would organise them into an online album. We must thank the Huis for taking us to the airport and back, and preparing breakfast and dinner for us.
