Celebrate Australia Day with Golf
Tiger Ong with his 3 iron on tee The social golfers Tiger Ong (T.O) without his bling bling whacking the ball as well as mozzies that ambushed us. Mikey. Somehow I always catch him on camera when he's on his follow through Desmond teed off This is how you do it (with the background rap music) Desmond has this thing about geese and decided to have a snap with the locals, and for your information, these geese pooed everywhere on the course. Geese reminds me of Goosen. The Locals This is how you swing, ok?
This time, I caught Mikey's huge drive. Can you see the ball in the air? Just click to enlarge. Happy campers! T.O. takes 5. Tiger Ong in his Masters Class See, his upswing. It's either I'm too slow or he's too quick for the camera
Me in action This is going to the green... Mikey's putt 17th hole Moi. Can you see that ball in the air? Good shot Tiger Ong. Summary Today, we celebrated Australia Day with a game of golf at New Brighton Golf Club, Moorebank. Our group teed of at around 6.45am and the weather is fantastic.
Our group consists of Vince aka Tiger Ong for his golfing powress, Mikey the one who gets all the blame, Desmond the Mr Consistency and myself who is a hybrid wannabe. Today is also my first use of my hybrids on a course and I can tell you that those hybrids belong to the driving range, for a while more before I turn them to good use. Anyhow we started off at Hole 10, playing the back 9. The pictures above are kinda random. I still prefer Mona Vale because it is scenic and well maintained. Also, I think I should long pants next time. My shorts made me look really stubby. :(

Guys, we should visit Woolooware for our next game and it has to be after 7 March. Oh yes, I am taking leave on 8 March so I reckon we can book a game for that day.

Meanwhile, it's me and my hybrids at the range.

Surprise from California
This morning, we received a big package from California.
The Chins and Luis in California sent these pretty clothing for our little lady.
Thanks guys. I will take photographs of Kimmy in those pretty things and post them here.

Kimmy still looking fresh after a Big Day Out. No, not the other Big Day Out event that has flooded our papers in the last few days. Whenever Kimmy goes out with mommy, it's always a lot of running around the village, shopping and finding carpark space.

We decided to have an "Aussie" sushi platter as a pre-Australia Day celebration. I know we should be eating lamb. Maybe we should have a BBQ tomorrow!

Ichiban!

Sushi and Udon...what more can I ask? Enless Sashimi maybe? We hope to do this Japanese takeaway at least once a month.

End note: I'm not sure if this relevant but I have 3 cousins in America. One married an American White and the others married American Chinese. We aren't sure where they live in America but my mum will try to find out. Who knows, we may visit America again and there may be a chance to meet up with the Chins, Luis, Hansons, Jerome and maybe Pearly. It will have to be a big trip though.

First Visit to Early Childhood Centre

The current statistics: Weight: 4.54kg Height/Length: 55cm Head Circumference: 37cm Recommendations: More 'tummy time' to strengthen her neck. Kimmy has caught a cold but should recover soon thanks to Mum's strong antibodies. *Update - This morning, we received a package of pressies for Kimmy, all the way from California. According to Michelle, they look gorgeous.

Tomorrow's Australia Day and I'll be golfing at New Brighton Golf Club, Moorebank.

Tomorrow, Andrew, Adrene and Aidan will be back in Sydney for a short holiday before returning to London.

Today, Eveyln and Jonathon have become proud parents.

Congratulations to James and Grace on the arrival of their newborn on Sunday morning!

Taller, stronger and better
Siesta Po Po, I've taken over your throne. This is my coronation. See the flower print? Impressive hey? I've been appointed as the Honourable President of Flower Power Club. I am so happy! Diddy is coming home to play with me. This is my tummy time!
(meaning Kimmy lies flat on her tummy and do the usual pilates for babes) Indeedy, I'm taller, stronger and better each day...
Simple delights in life
Clairie and Shyann came over for dinner. We had Curry Chicken, Prawns with beans and a mushroom dish with fantastic gravy. Oh, each person has a bowl of Cantonese soup.

On the same night, I telephoned the Kok family in Singapore and spoke to Aunty Alice, Uncle Alfred and Amelia. Good to know that everyone's doing well. Adam, I left a message on our phone. Hope to chat with you soon.

Seriously, take my advice in regard to travelling to Perth. :)

It's TaylorMade for me!
Graphite shaft
The grips are okay Club face is fine
All with serial numbers Just the paintwork is off Minimal scratches I am now the proud owner of 3 secondhand TaylorMade Rescue. They are now out of production and the new ones are really fancy where you are able to adjust weights. I do not think for a second that they will do anything fantastic for me.
I got these Hybrids from Ebay and I reckon they are great bargains. Hopefully with these clubs, I won't need a wood so soon. The scratches on the clubhead are acceptable. They do not look as bad as the ones I saw on Ebay. The camera flash made the clubheads look bad. It's just the paint work. I am going to practise with them sometime this week before the Australia Day game. By the way, is someone going to host a Aussie BBQ on Friday? Keep me posted hey.
